Film photography is, of course, as old as photography itself. The masterpieces of photography were all created during the Golden Age of photography when film was all there was; further, many of those masterpieces were created when the only film available was black and white.

It’s odd today to think of film photography as “vintage” and “out of date,” yet film persists. The concept of “lomography” has moved from a cult phenomena to a mainstream art. What better way to celebrate the history of photography with a lomography gallery created by truly vintage – 60 year and older – cameras?
